  3. You are encouraged to register this program.
  4.  
  5. 1. As shareware, it is given to you for the purpose of allowing
  6.    you to try it out to see if you will find it useful. If it is not 
  7.    something you are going to find much use for, it doesn't cost 
  8.    you anything. But if you continue to use the program, you are 
  9.    violating the agreement.

  11. 2. If you register, you get a validation key number to enter, which 
  12.    completes the registration of the program. After registration, you
  13.    will notice that the startup message says "REGISTERED Owner:"
  14.    followed by your name if you so choose.
  15.  
  16. 3. Your registration also provides me with an incentive to write
  17.    more useful programs to improve your productivity.
  18.  
  19. 4. Support is provided to registered users either online using
  20.    GEnie or DELPHI, or via US mail.
  21.  
  22. 5. Periodic notice of significant upgrades will be sent to each
  23.    registered user.

  25. 6. Some of my programs are distributed with a "Counted Use" 
  26.    registration incentive. The 2nd line of the startup message
  27.    will say "UNREGISTERED Evaluation Copy.  Counted Use." This
  28.    message may not be visible until after the program has run.
  29.    This means that after some preset number of uses, typically
  30.    20 to 40, the program will stop working. The evaluation time
  31.    is up. If the words "Counted Use" do not appear, you will be
  32.    reminded about every 10 times that this is shareware, and
  33.    registration is expected.

  35. 7. Upgrade policy: If you obtain an upgraded version of any software
  36.    title listed on the registration form, which you have previously
  37.    registered, you can obtain the validation key number for the new 
  38.    version for the minimum flat fee of $5.00. See REG.FRM.

  40. By entering your validation number, you convert the program to
  41. a registered program. This is done by using one of the "Help"
  42. screens. You select "R: Register by entering Validation number"
  43. from the menu. If the number is correct, you will be asked to
  44. enter your name for display each time it runs. If, at any time,
  45. you wish to revise your name as it appears when the program runs:
  46.  
  47.    Go to the same screen & select "R" again. You do not need to
  48.    re-enter the validation number. Just hit the "Enter" or "Return"
  49.    key, and the validation number remains unchanged. You are then
  50.    shown the current name which you may edit. If you do no editing
  51.    and just hit "Enter", the name remains unchanged.

  53. If for any reason, you get error messages about reading or writing
  54. the .CFG file, it may be that the file is write protected, or
  55. may have been damaged. It is safe for you to delete the .CFG file,
  56. which is in the same directory as the .EXE file. The next time
  57. the program is run it will create a new .CFG file. You may then
  58. re-enter the validation number as described above.

  69. If you order a disk from me, and it arrives damaged, it will be 
  70. replaced at my expense if you notify me within 10 days of receipt.
